Dimapur, Nov. 6 (EMN): In pursuance to the directive of the Central Board of Secondary Education and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation, DMI St. Joseph Global School virtually observed the ‘International Day Against Violence and Bullying including Cyber Bullying’ on the theme “Together against bullying in school” on Friday.
To mark the occasion, the school organised activities such as poster making, painting, slogan writing, and thought-provoking messages on the theme, an update from the school authority informed.
The school principal, Backiyaraj T, conducted online workshop for students from classes 6 to 9 using powerpoint presentation and inspiring videos. He highlighted school-related gender-based violence and how to stay alert and safe from physical, psychological and sexual violence from perpetrators.
Drawing and painting were conducted for students of classes 4 and 5, while slogan writing was conducted for students of Class 6, poster making for students of classes 7 and 8, and making video of thought-provoking message was conducted for students of classes 9 and 10.
