Dimapur, Dec. 5 (EMN): Popular music streaming platform Spotify has reportedly removed content of top comedians like Kevin Hart, Tiffany Haddish, John Mulaney and Jim Gaffigan.

The Spotify has pulled hundreds of comedians' albums after talks with global rights administration company, Spoken Giants, failed.

Spoken Giants reportedly wants Spotify to pay its artists royalties for not just the performance but for writing their content as well.

In response to the dispute, Spotify told the Wall Street Journal that it had paid a ‘significant’ amount of money to the artists and emphasised that they would love to keep paying, however, they won’t pay writing royalties.
