SPO convenes meeting on two-lane Kohima- Jessami road

Dimapur, Sep. 22 (EMN): The Secheku Public Organisation (SPO) had convened an emergency consultative meeting in regard to the two lane (SARDP-NE) Kohima —Jessami road on September 21. According to a press update issued on Tuesday, the meeting was held at Mesulumi Baptist Church conference hall. The meeting resolved to bury their differences and extended their cooperation to the district administration for the smooth progress, quality workmanship and timely completion of the ongoing mega project in their jurisdiction, it read.

 The house also resolved to appeal to the competent authority to extend fair and unbiased properties and damaged compensation to the affected landowners as per DPR and latest schedule of rates. The meeting was attended by representatives of SPO constituent villages from Chizami Range Public Organisation (CRPO), Razeba Public Organisation, (RPO) Centre Chakhesang Public Organisation (CCPO), Village Council chairmen and NH-29 Two Lane Affected Land Owners Committee, Secheku Area (NH-29 TLALOCSA) headed by its convenor Zechete Mekrisuh and the district level verification committee headed by sub-divisional officer (C) Pfutsero Thungbemo Patton, MLA Kezhenyi Khalo and Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) headed by its president Mikha Kenye, it added.
