A team of the Special Protection Group (SPG) led by a DIG will arrive on Friday in Nagaland ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the State from November 30.
Well placed sources informed Eastern Mirror that the SPG team will immediately start examining all security related matters on all the routes through which the Prime Minister’s motorcade may pass.
Frisking and checking exercises have been intensified at all strategic points in Dimapur and Kohima.
