Speech incomplete without ‘Reconciliation’

A speech in all important occasions is incomplete without the word ‘reconciliation’ for all Naga political groups. A man and a woman always say that they want to be married but they don’t get married. If they are to be maaried, they are at liberty to get married. The political factions always say they want reconciliation and unity…. among the different factions. After their Chiangmai meet, they have reached an agreement of reconciliation and it culminated into formation of a committee of six persons to explore the possibility of forming a National Government. But instead of forming a national government, the NSCN was split into NSCN Khehoi and NSCN Khaplang and they started killing one another. When formation of the National Government could not be materialized, it might be because of certain technical difficulties not known to the general public. But it was under the aegis of the FNR and the cause of the failure or the difficulty is known to them and under their good office the impasse can be made a breakthrough. They have to be bold enough to do justice and in such situation the FNR have to have a say. Inclusion of all civil societies and NGOs is always highlighted but without any impact.
If every body can pray, ‘Search me O Lord, and know my heart; try me, and know my thoughts. And see if there is any wicked way in me; and lead me in the way of everlasting’. (Ps 139: 23-24). If everyone sincerely prays this prayer, no problem will be left unsolved.
