New office bearers of the Southern Angami Students’ Union being administered oath during its 73rd conference on January 14.

Dimapur, Jan. 15 (EMN): Southern Angami Students’ Union (SASU) held its 73rd conference on January 14 at Kezoma Urban Station on the theme “Re-orienting way forward.” The one-day conference was attended by thousand delegates from 13 units.

Speaking at the programme, the DIG HQ and guest speaker, Videlalie Zashümo, challenged the students to realise their talents and potentials and become successful. He also called upon the people in the area to stand united and have a progressive mindset, stated an update from the union.

Later in the day, Dr. Visakhonü Hibo, principal of Japfü Christian College, spoke on local farming and job oriented business by localising products available in the area and making them global.

It stated that the one-day conference also witnessed debate competition and election of new team of office bearers led by Letso Mekro as president, Zayiekhoto Sale as vice president, and Kevingoto Sachü as general secretary along with 14 other executives.
