Kohima: A four-day camp for youth and junior CYE organised by Koinonia Baptist Church (KBC) titled ‘Soul Ignite VII’ at Koinonia Prayer Centre (KPC) in Tsiesema Basa on the theme”…Love builds up” (1 Cor. 8:1) concluded on April 8.
A press release from Koinonia media ministry informed that a total of 201 campers and officials attended the camp, wherein many campers have committed their lives to Jesus Christ and received blessings of healing, deliverance and breakthrough.
The speakers were Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, founder pastor of KBC and principal of Kohima Bible College; Medotseilieü, pastor of KBC; Neibalie, pastor of KBC; and Rokopra Mekro, assistant pastor of KBC.
The resource persons were Kekhriengunuo Nienu, Ph.D scholar in Biblical Counseling at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary Kansas City, Missouri, who is also a certified Biblical counselor with Association of Certified Biblical Counselor, US, and serves as a Biblical counselor at Reigning Grace Counseling Center, Liberty, Missouri; while other resource persons were Esther Rhee, John Rhee, Jordan Lebahn, Kaitlynn Lebahn and Ashely Pingleton all from Kansas City, Missouri.
It informed that Ruokuotuo Kuotsu, evangelist of KBC, was the camp director and Salenthong Khevazüklü was the assistant camp director. The praise and worship was led by Neilhou Sopfünuo, evangelist of KBC, along with Asi Meyase, Keneisetuo Kiewhuo, Dziese Rutsa, Theja Keditsu and Meciekhonu.
It stated a Biblical quiz was conducted by Menuosielie Üsou, evangelist.
Topics such as ‘Sins and its consequences,’ ‘Repentance and salvation,’ ‘Faith,’ ‘Legitimate sons and daughters in the family of God,’ ‘Prayer,’ ‘Temptation and testing,’ ‘Satanism, gaming, music, tattoos, festivals, movies,’ ‘Biblical concept of the role of men and women in the society, church,’ ‘Tithes and offerings,’ ‘Blessings and curses,’ ‘Holy spirit,’ ‘Power, gifts and role’ and ‘Restore the image of God in Christ,’ were discussed during the camp.
It stated that the Soul Ignite camp was an annual event of the Koinonia ministry. It added that the Soul Ignite marked the 25th year celebration of the youth department.
