Dimapur, March 9 (EMN): Citing inputs from the Indian Air Force, the Dimapur district administration has informed that ‘sonic booms’—getting more frequent by the day in Dimapur—are caused by fighter aircraft during ‘routine training exercise’.
According to a DIPR report on Monday, the district administration has assured to take up adequate proactive precautionary measures to prevent the fighter jets from flying towards “Dimapur town sector”, which has been creating ‘inconvenience to the public’.
“It further informed that in the interim period, the sound created should not create any panic situation among the public,” it added.
