Dimapur, Feb. 16: A collection of 50 poems by Padma Sri for Literature and Education in 2007, Temsula Ao, has been released. The book ‘Songs along the way home’ is published by Heritage Publishing House in Dimapur. Another novel ‘Aosenla’s story,’ published by Zubaan at New Delhi, was released. Both the books were released on Sat. Feb. 16 at the Dimapur Govt. College auditorium.
The books were released by Dimapur Govt. College associate professor for English, A Sentiyula.
In her brief address after the release of the two books, Ao called writing one of the most solitary activities in the world. “Whatever I write comes from inner urge to acknowledge,” she said.

‘Songs along the way home’ is the sixth book of poems by Ao. The recurrent theme of the narrative voices in this book appears to be more introspective than in the earlier ones, Heritage Publishing House states.
