DIMAPUR — Sonam Topden, a well-known singer, songwriter and composer is all set to perform at Ukhrul headquarters in Manipur on Dec. 14 at Tangkhul Naga Film Festival (TNFF) 2023 which is scheduled to be held on Dec. 14 and the 15th.
An update issued on Monday informed that Sonam Topden, the multilingual sensation, has taken the music and film world by storm.
Born in the picturesque town of Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India, on April 30, 1994, Sonam Topden's journey from a small hill town to becoming a global sensation is nothing short of remarkable. His talent transcends boundaries, as he effortlessly sings in languages as diverse as Hindi, Nepali, English, Tibetan, and Bhutanese, the update informed.

In a press conference, President of Tangkhul Naga Film Association (TNFA), Ravins YL said that the film festival is being organised to promote the Tangkhul artiste.
‘We are also in the process of obtaining an agreement with Mahila Band from Nagaland,’ the update further informed.
Ravins YL said, ‘Mrs. Asia Pacific Intercontinental 2019, Sylvia Adaphro, Miss North East India 2022, Chanchui Khayi, Padma Shree Awardee, Guru Rewben Mashangva and Ruparu Mr. India (Brand Ambassador), Lummi Awungshi will be some of the special guests during the event.’
‘TNFF vision is to tell Tangkhul stories to the world through films and to make the world know about Tangkhul through films. Its mission is to make meaningful films. To enrich our arts through films and promote the artists and all the Tangkhuls involved in film making,’ read the update.
During the event, awards will be presented to best film, best actor, best actress, best supporting role (male and female), best director, best videography, best editor, best costume and best makeup.
