The School of Music Dimapur (SoM) held its 17th Foundation today at its school campus. The event was graced by C.L. John, Minister for RD & REPA.
According to a press release, C.L. John stressed on the importance of music in our everyday life and that it has the power to even heal sickness and uplift our spirits at the darkest times. He also encouraged musicians to put God first and to spread positive message through their gifts, as a responsible contributors to the society.
Various special numbers are said to have presented by the students and staffs of SoM, including a solo by the well known musician and a staff
of SoM, Jano Nyekha.
The event was attended by the Minister and his entourage, Zaveyi Nyekha (Rtd Principal Director, SE), parents, well wishers and other dignitaries.
