Dimapur, Dec. 17 (EMN): In commemoration of the Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio’s 70th birth anniversary, NDPP unit of 9th Kohima town assembly constituency along with its legislator Dr. Neikiesalie Kire conducted a social work from Classic Island to World War-II tank in Kohima on December 16.

An update from the unit described Rio as one of the tallest leaders in Nagaland political history, who has made a huge impact in the lives of the people. It stated that despite the many hurdles, Rio founded the NDPP and led to victory as the major partner in the current PDA coalition government.

It expressed pride and satisfaction that their leader and party MLA Dr. Neikiesalie Nicky Kire shares Rio’s vision and has been a pillar of strength and support to the CM in his pursuit to deliver good to the public.
