Dimapur, June 13 (EMN): Skill Alli PMKVY Centre, Chümoukedima, organised an event to showcase the skills of the trainees on June 8 on the theme “Water & Fire.”
A special programme “Water & Fire”- ‘Dreams to Reality’ was conducted for beauty and wellness and cutting and tailoring trainees where they showcased their skills and talents through their designs and make-up. The main objective of the programme was to encourage the trainees to explore their potentialities and to be self-reliant.
The programme was chaired by Y Tsurila and Kevisenuo, while the chief patrons of the programme were Vikali A Zhimomi, director CTA and ‘We for Women,’ and Moa Jamir, proprietor of Nagaland Minerals & Mines.
Chief patrons encouraged the trainees not to take the short and easy way but to seize every opportunity and come out of their comfort zones and strive to succeed in life. The audience was enthralled by an upcoming rapper “Big Dane” from Chümoukedima.
The programme concluded with certificate distribution to the trainees and cash prizes for Top 3 design team. The prizes for the winners were sponsored by Moa Jamir. The judges were Vilhhousa Movi, Dr. Hewasa Lorin and Roko Hama. The vote of thanks was proposed by Imdong Anar, board member of Skill Alli.
