Kohima Police recovered skeletal remains near the Medical College in P Khel and have appealed to the public for help in identifying the deceased.

DIMAPUR — Skeletal remains of an unidentified person were recovered on Sunday from a jungle area in ‘P’ Khel, near the Medical College, under the jurisdiction of North Police Station, Kohima.
According to Kohima Police, the deceased is estimated to have been approximately 5.5 to 5.6 feet tall. All necessary legal procedures have been completed, and the remains are currently being kept at the North Police Station morgue pending identification.

Authorities have appealed to the public to assist in the identification process, particularly families or individuals with missing relatives or acquaintances. Anyone with information has been requested to contact the Officer-in-Charge of North Police Station at 7005986018.
