Dimapur, April 26 (EMN): The department of Economics, St. Joseph University (SJU) conducted a one-day national webinar on ‘Research Methodology’ with Prof. G Ravi, HoD of Economics, Annamalai University, Chidambaram, Tamil Nadu as the resource person on April 25.
Speaking on research methodology, prof. Ravi pointed out various methods and stressed on the importance of research, an update from the institute informed.
It stated that the webinar began with an invocation by Sr. Thianes, dy. registrar (SJU), while Dr. M Vadivel, assistant professor, department of Economics (SJU) welcomed the resource person as well as the participants and Dr. A Anthonisan Registrar (SJU) exhorted the gathering.
The webinar concluded with vote of thanks from Dr. Debojit Konwar, HoD of Economics (SJU). It was conducted both in offline and online mode through Google meet and telecasted live from the university's official YouTube channel. Faculty members, research scholars and students from different universities across the country participated in the webinar, it added.
