SJC Jakhama overall champions of St. Joseph Trophy

Dimapur, Oct. 16 (EMN): St. Joseph's College (SJC), Jakhama, emerged as the overall champions of ‘St Joseph Trophy,’ the first inter-college/university annual sports event organised St. Joseph University (SJU), Nagaland.
In football, ICFAI University took first position and St. Joseph’s College were declared runner-up, SJU informed in an update.
St. Joseph’s College also took the basketball title with Tetso College as runner-up.
St. Joseph’s College and Tetso College won the first and second positions respectively in volleyball (men’s category).
Dimapur Government College and St. Joseph’s College were declared winner and runner-up respectively in volleyball (women’s category).
Vice Chancellor of SJU, Dr. D Gnanadurai, gave away the trophy and prizes to the winners.
The three-day sporting event was held from October 13 to the 15th at the university campus.
