SJC alumni partner with Pioneer Institute to help students in need
In an effort to promote educational opportunities and support students in need, the Alumni Association of St. Joseph College (Autonomous), Jakhama, has entered into a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kohima-based Pioneer Institute
DIMAPUR — In an effort to promote educational opportunities and support students in need, the Alumni Association of St. Joseph College (Autonomous), Jakhama, has entered into a joint Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kohima-based Pioneer Institute. The MoU signing ceremony took place on July 14 at St. Joseph College (Autonomous), Jakhama.
Under this agreement, the parties have committed to providing financial assistance in the form of 100% scholarships for computer certificate courses. These scholarships will be awarded annually to one deserving student from each department of the college, based on their financial need and academic merit.
Additionally, the MoU stipulates that students from the college will be eligible for a 33% discount on other courses offered by Pioneer Institute.
The MoU was signed by Peter Vizo, President of the Alumni Association and Kiviboto Sheqi, Managing Director of Pioneer Institute. The signing ceremony was also attended by Fr. Dr. Keduolhou Angami, Principal of the college.
