Dimapur, Aug 6 (EMN): Six persons, said to be members of the NSCN (K), have been arrested by the authorities in connection with the murder of a man in Tuensang on August 5.
The office of the additional superintendent of police, also the PRO, informed Eastern Mirror that so far six persons have been arrested in connection with the case. The deceased was found at Eastern Nursing Home in Tuensang.
The accused were identified as Shehen Nyakba Konyak, Seyong Chang, Aliba Sangtam, Homang Konyak, Angkihongba Konyak and C Wongtochu. They were apprehended by the police and a case has been registered, the PRO said.
The PRO informed further that the six arrested individuals belong to the armed group NSCN (K).
Post mortem was conducted, but the results are being awaited, he informed adding that the cause of death was due to the assault.
