Six fresh Covid cases reported

Dimapur, March 7 (EMN): Nagaland recorded six new Covid-19 positive cases on Sunday, taking the state’s tally to 12217.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘Six positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Sunday) from Kohima. Also, one positive patient has recovered from Kohima,’ tweeted the minister.

According to the information provided by the Health department, the state has 20 asymptomatic cases. The state has also recorded 11953 recoveries and 91 deaths out of which 10 deaths are ‘not Covid- related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 19 asymptomatic cases and Dimapur has one, while the remaining nine districts are Covid free.
