Six fresh Covid cases detected in Nagaland; tally rises to 12198

Dimapur, Feb. 25 (EMN):
After not reporting fresh Covid-19 positive case for three consecutive days, six cases were detected in Nagaland on Thursday, taking the state’s tally to 12198.

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

“Six positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Thursday); Kohima-5 and Dimapur-1. And also, one patients has recovered from Dimapur,’ tweeted the minister.

According to the information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 13 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 12 are asymptomatic and one mild. The state has also recorded 11942 recoveries and 91 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima has 11 cases and two in Dimapur, while other districts are Covid-free.
