Six fresh Covid-19 cases detected in Nagaland; tally rises to 12166

Dimapur, Feb. 9 (EMN): As many as six Covid-19 positive cases were detected in Nagaland on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 12,166.

This was informed by the minister of Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘Six positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today (Tuesday) from Kohima. And also, three patients have recovered from Dimapur,’ tweeted the minister.

According to the information provided by the Health department, Nagaland currently has 88 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 85 are asymptomatic and three mild. The state has also recorded 11840 recoveries and 88 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Kohima leads with 65 cases, followed by Dimapur-21 and Peren-2, while Tuensang,  Mokokchung, Kiphire, Longleng, Wokha, Phek, Mon and Zunheboto have zero cases.
