Six enter Kids for Fame Season-4 finale

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]HE semi final of Kids for Fame Season-4 was held tonight at IMC Hall wherein six contestants have made it through to the finale. The selected contestants would vie for the ultimate title to be held in November later this year. The six contestants including one male and five females were selected through public voting and points from the judges. They were selected out of the 12 remaining contestants comprising two males and 10 females.
Going by the results of the semi final, female contestant Sevi Khruomo from Kohima with a total of 50,644 votes emerged as the contestant with the highest vote. The other contestants who will join her to compete at the grand finale are Akhrole Keyho, Alovika K Assumi, Nisheli Yepthomi, Sharon Kiba, and Nuntilong Longkumer.
The panels of judges for tonight were Akhrieno Zao, music teacher at School of Music & Art, Dimapur and Kashito Kiba, Managing Director, Pheto Music Association, while the hosts for the show were Vibeizonuo and Gifty Shitiri.
Pushing into the final, it has been informed that the public voting will commence on October 7. The voting outlets in Dimapur are School of Music & Art, Purana Bazar and Popular Bakery. For Kohima, it will be available at Lineage Enterprise, Opp NST Bus Station. While for Wokha, the voting cards will be available at Highway Entertainment and Lifeline Medicos and for Mokokchung at Cosmos Hall Entertainment.
The winner of this season will be awarded with cash prize of Rs two lakhs and addition of one year with the organisers.
‘Kids for Fame’ is a singing contest organized by Pheto Music Association for the age group between 10-15 years. Running into its fourth season, the singing contest is being organized under the theme – “Discovering Talents to a Higher Level.’
