Six Banans to take on Six Kings in Premier Champions’ final

Six Banans and Six Kings will clash in the finals of the 2nd Premier Champions’ Trophy organised by CRC Bayavü Hill at Kohima Local Ground on Monday at 10:30 pm.In the first semi-final match played yesterday, Six Kings defeated Juggernauts by 1 wicket. Batting first Juggernauts scored57 runs in 6 overs with Dito contributing 28 runs. Six Kings achieved the target in 4.5 overs losing 5 wickets.
Playing the second semi-final match, Six Bananas defeated Royal Hornbill by 62 runs. Taking the bats first Six Bananas scored 81 runs in 6 overs with Ahezo scoring 22 runs. In reply Royal Hornbill were dumbled out scoring 19 runs.
A total of 18 teams from three districts of Nagaland, 16 from Kohima and one each from Dimapur and Wokha participated in the tournament.
