IN yet another inter-factional related violence, one person from GPRN/ NSCN was shot dead between Medziphema town and Jharnapani on Saturday morning after abducting from Kohima.The deceased was reportedly shot in a close range. He bore a gun shot mark in his lower jaw which exited on the back of his head. Police personnel of the Medziphema Police Station recovered the body at around 8 a.m.
The deceased been identified as Yantsu Yimchungru (30), son of Ahekhiu of Laingkonger village under Shamator sub-division in Tuensang district. He was reportedly abducted from Kohima and shot dead between Medziphema and Jharnapani area. The deceased was blind folded and hands tied behind at the time of the recovery.
The family members have claimed the body after brought to the morgue at DimapurDistrictHospital.
