Sharingain youngest among Aonglenden aspirants

[caption id="attachment_240505" align="alignleft" width="400"] File photo: Sharingain Longkumer[/caption] Our Correspondent Mokokchung, March 25 (EMN): Thirty-eight-year-old Sharingain Longkumer of NDPP is the youngest among the four candidates contesting the by-election to 26 Aonglenden assembly constituency in Mokokchung district. The polling will be held simultaneously with that of the Lok Sabha on April 11. Next on the list is O Tinu Lkr, aged 47, who will be contesting on NPP ticket. The oldest among the four is 60-year-old Alem Jongshi of Congress followed by NPF candidate, Toshipokba who is 59. Monday was the last date for filing of nomination papers and three candidates— Alem Jongshi (Congress), O Tinu Lkr  (NPP) and Toshipokba (NPF)— submitted their nomination papers to contest the by-election to the 26 Aonglenden assembly constituency. The NDPP candidate Sharingain Longkumer had filed his nomination for the by-election on March 22.
