Seyochung Village Students’ Union’s 64th triennial session begins at Seyochung village with announcements of scholarships for NPSC and UPSC aspirants.

DIMAPUR — The 64th UBA of the Seyochung Village Students’ Union (SVSU) triennial session began at Seyochung village in Kiphire on the theme “Rooted in culture, rising with sustainability”.
During the programme, Longtili C Sangtam, president of the SVSU, announced that the union, in partnership with Eduversity, will sponsor a 100% scholarship for two aspirants from Seyochung village preparing for the Nagaland Public Service Commission (NPSC) and the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examinations.
According to an update, he further informed that free NPSC study materials will be distributed the following day at the Eduversity stall at the Public Ground, Seyochung village. In addition, a full set of the Nagaland Staff Selection Board (NSSB) study materials will be awarded to the winner of the essay competition.

The president expressed gratitude to all partners for their support, thanking Eduversity as the main partner, Akehda Amulung as the green partner, Atsikeh Event as the event partner, The Kiphire Page and Lihpikihna as media partners, and Hi-Tech Printing Service, Kiphire, as the print partner.
Atsala Anar, assistant general secretary of the Eastern Nagaland Women Organisation (ENWO), encouraged the students by saying that technology should be used wisely for growth while keeping cultural values alive and urged them not to give up until they truly try.
Meanwhile, Dr. H Apise, secretary of USBLA Sub-Centre, Kiphire, added that staying rooted in God’s culture and timeless values is the true path to success.
