Dimapur, July 26: Outgoing Governor PB Acharya was accorded a send-off at Dimapur Airport on Friday. He, accompanied by his wife Kavita, was received at the Police House at Chümoukedima.
In the presence of Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, a guard of honour was accorded to the governor by the personnel of 10th IRB at the airport. The Nagagenous choir also presented a song.
Other legislators present at the send-off ceremony were Neiba Kronu and V Kashito Sangtam.
RN Ravi has been named as Acharya’s successor.
