Selection trial for induction into state sports hostel rescheduled

DIMAPUR — The Directorate of Youth Resources and Sports (YRS) has informed all interested candidates that selection trial for induction into State Sports Hostel, Dimapur, for the session 2024, which was earlier scheduled from Jan. 18 to the 20th, has been rescheduled due to unavoidable circumstances.

According to a DIPR report, the revised dates are:  Sepaktakraw (Girls) – Jan. 30 at 9:00 am; Athletics (Girls) – Jan. 30 at 9:00 am and Football (Boys) – Jan. 30 and 31 at 9:00 am. Time and venue will remain the same.

Candidates born on or after Jan. 1, 2010, are eligible to apply. Forms will be issued at the venue on arrival. Registration will be done on the same day and candidates must produce Aadhaar card and birth certificate, it stated.
