Selection for Catch Them Young Tournament in Mon

Dimapur, Sep. 5 (EMN): District Sports Officer, Mon Anguvito Sumi has issued a notice informing that the 12th inter-district Catch Them Young Tournament will be held at IG Stadium, Kohima from October 16 to the 18th in the discipline of football (boys) and athletics for both boys and girls under 14 years of age. In this regard, the District Sports Office, Mon will be conducting a selection-cum-district tournament on September 13 and 14th. The update has informed that interested candidates/players born on or after October 15 2005 can register at the District Sports Office from September 6 onwards during office hours. a player can participate in three (3) events only excluding relay race. Selection will be held for athletic events (both Boys & Girls) such as 100M race, 200M race, 400M race, 4x100M relay race, shot put, long jump and high jump. A player can participate in three (3) events only, excluding relay race.
