Seized liquor destroyed in Tuli

Dimapur, Sep. 11 (EMN): Mokokchung battalion of the Assam Riffles along with Nagaland police representative destroyed a total of 165 cases of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) at Tuli town on September 10.

A defence release stated that the consignment was destroyed in the presence of the destruction committee headed by SDO Tuli sub-division, SDPO Tuli, OC of Tuli Police Station, representatives from women organisation, student unions, ward union chairman and town council chairman.

It added that locals have expressed gratitude towards the Assam Rifles for their efforts in fighting the menace of illegal IMFL trading.
