Sector officers, commanders briefed on poll duties in Tuensang

DIMAPUR — In preparation for the upcoming general election to the Lok Sabha, a coordination meeting was held on Wednesday at the DC conference hall in Tuensang, bringing together sector officers and sector commanders.

Zibenthung Kithan, Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer of Tuensang, speaking on the occasion, emphasised the duties and responsibilities of both the sector officers and sector commanders.

According to a DIPR report, he also instructed them to coordinate and cooperate with each other. He further urged them to physically visit their respective polling stations.

Kanchan Kumar Kandpal, SP Tuensang, also spoke at the meeting and briefed on the security arrangements and preparedness.
