Second randomisation of polling personnel held in Wokha
DIMAPUR — The second round of randomisation for polling personnel for all the assembly constituencies under Wokha district was held on Sunday in the presence of Satya Brata, the expenditure observer for Wokha district.
A DIPR report mentioned that altogether, there are 215 polling stations for all four assembly constituencies, namely the 37 Tyui, 38 Wokha, 39 Sanis, and 40 Bhandari under Wokha.
The deputy commissioner (DC) and district election officer (DEO), Wokha, Ajit Kumar Ranjan, informed that there are 60 all-female polling stations and 155 male polling stations, comprising 426 female personnel and 936 male polling personnel.
Earlier, the expenditure observer convened a meeting with all the assistant expenditure observers of constituencies 37 Tyui, 38 Wokha, 39 Sanis, and 40 Bhandari A/C at the DC’s office chamber.
During the meeting, he briefed the observers about the various activities to be carried out and urged them to adhere to the guidelines laid out. He emphasised the importance of preparing detailed reports minute-by-minute and submitting them accordingly.
