Second phase of training scheduled for Wokha polling officials

DIMAPUR — Deputy commissioner and district election officer, Wokha, Ajit Kumar Ranjan, has informed all polling personnel requisitioned for the conduct of the 2024 Lok Sabha election about the schedule for the second phase of training.

According to a DIPR report, presiding officers numbering from serial numbers 1 to 170 (males) and 1 to 80 (females) are scheduled for training on April 5 starting at 9:30 am at GHSS Wokha. First polling officers, comprising 1 to 220 males and 1 to 117 females, are also scheduled for training on April 5 at 9:30 am at GHSS, Wokha. Second polling officers, numbering from 1 to 219 (males) and 1 to 86 (females), will undergo training on April 6 at 9:30 am at GHSS Wokha.

Third polling officers, consisting of serial numbers 1 to 205 (males) and 1 to 90 (females), will undergo training on April 6 at 9:30 am at GHSS Wokha. Polling officials and grade IV personnel who have not yet submitted their passport-size photographs (two) and Form 12A (EDC Form) have been directed to submit them during the second phase of training.

Grade IV staff who have already submitted their passport-size photographs and Form 12A (EDC Form) are not required to attend the second phase of training.

The concerned departmental nodal officers have been instructed to inform all polling officials and grade IV staff of their respective departments, who have been drafted for duty, accordingly.
