Co-organiser of the event and director of Feel Dance academy, Shangchin Khiamniungan said, the idea behind organising the event was also towards making dance culture alive among the youths. He said through such platforms, young dance enthusiast come forward and seize the opportunity. Altogether 26 dancers, from the age group of 13 to 25 years turned up to compete in three different dance categories- breaking, all style, and solo. Apart from Nagaland, dancers from other states like Assam and Manipur also participated at the event. One of the judges at the event, Aboi Max Pao, expressed that there are lots of good dancers in Dimapur but unfortunately with no proper guidance. Pao, who is a self taught dancer from Senapati is a member of Manipur-based dance group, The Tribe Fam.
