DIMAPUR — The SDO Civil Mon, Rongsenmenla, has cautioned the public of Mon district that scammers have been calling or sending text messages claiming to be officials from the PMMVY Office, and attempts have been made to hack bank accounts.
As per a DIPR report, the Nagaland State Social Welfare Board has given the information about the scammers.
[bsa_pro_ad_space id=1]“These calls do not originate from the PMMVY cell. Bank account details are never asked over the phone, and no QR codes are sent. Those who receive these calls can report to District Hub for Empowerment of Women (DHEW) or call the Women Helpline (9485239098),” the official informed.
