SDFA organises trials for Nagaland Olympics 2024

DIMAPUR — The Shamator District Football Association conducted trials for aspiring footballers from the district on Tuesday.

According to an update from the state DIPR, a total of 33 youth from Thsurongto Circle, Chessore Circle, Mangko Circle, Shamator Circle, and Sotokur Circle participated in the selection trials, aiming to represent their district in the upcoming Nagaland Olympics in 2024.

Shahoto Naga, the President of SDFA, expressed gratitude to Olando Yimkhiung, the team captain, for his dedication to the development of football in the district. Additionally, he expressed gratitude to all SDFA officials, including AM Showuba, Achim Yaksokiu, Hanfu, Solumba, and Among P, for contributing towards team selection, the update stated.
