Sculpt Fitness Gym opens in Kiphire
KIPHIRE — Sculpt Fitness Gym, a gym in Kiphire, was inaugurated on Thursday by Ape Puro, a fitness instructor and general secretary of the Nagaland Bodybuilding and Fitness Association.
Puro, who is also the proprietor of Life Fitness Nagaland, emphasised on the occasion that fitness is for everyone, regardless of gender or age, and encouraged dedication.
Puro stated that fitness is a way of life rather than just a label and emphasised the importance of physical health, mental well-being, stress reduction, and improved heart health.
At the event, entrepreneurs Thrijongba Sangtam, who won third place for best physique at the 2019 Hornbill Festival, and Atsungba Sangtam, who has achieved notable success in the fitness industry, announced plans to organise summer, winter, and street fitness challenges in the near future.
Sculpt Fitness Gym offers 24/7 electricity, changing rooms, bathing facilities, and professional instructors. The gym will operate in two sessions, morning and evening, each accommodating up to 20 people comfortably.
Head GB of Singrip village, who also spoke at the event, encouraged the young entrepreneurs, expressing belief in their dreams despite financial challenges.
Alumba Tikhir, a gym instructor from Dimapur, and Medoletuo, a gym instructor from Kohima, were also present.
