Dimapur, Aug. 28 (EMN): Dr. Pijush Kanti Biswas, Senior Scientist and Head of Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Mokokchung, was conferred India Independence Awards-2019 for his outstanding contribution in plant and agricultural sciences from International Association of Research and Development on August 18 at The International Centre, Panjim, Goa.
International Association of Research and Development is an apex body that promotes and encourages commendable achievements after various stages of evaluation and verification subject to the policies framed by the Awards Committee.
Biswas received the award on the occasion of international award conference on Multi-disciplinary Research and Latest Innovation.
