Dimapur, Feb. 3 (EMN): The Department of School Education, Nagaland has made it mandatory for all schools to display details of food grains and cooking cost under the Mid Day Meal (MDM) Scheme for each quarter.
In a notification issued on Monday, the department directed all heads of school to display posters containing those details “prominently within the school campus throughout the quarter”. The posters will be issued by the department to the schools.
“The poster also displays a helpline number (6009256788) to which public can send complaints through SMS/WhatsApp if they come across any misuse of the scheme,” it added.
