Dimapur, May 17 (EMN): Deputy Commissioner, Kohima, Anoop Khinchi, who is also the chairman of Kohima District Level Steering Committee (DLSC) for implementation of Student Police Cadet (SPC) programme, handover cheque of INR 50,000 each to the selected schools of the district in his office chamber on May 17.
The selected schools from Kohima district included Dr. Neilhouzhü Kire Government Higher Secondary School, Seikhazou, and Regimental School, Thizama. The headmaster/ principal of the selected schools received the cheque from the Deputy Commissioner, Kohima.
As per guidelines from the Ministry Home Affairs, amount INR 16,000 would be utilise for teaching aids, while INR 24,000 for outdoor activities, INR 5000 for training, and INR 5000 for contingency.
The headmaster/ principal of the recipient schools thanked the DLSC led by DC Kohima for selecting their schools to implement the programme in the district.
