Schools in Dimapur observe Netaji’s birth anniversary

DIMAPUR — On the occasion of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birth anniversary, PM Shri Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), Dimapur, organised an inter-school painting competition under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and the deputy commissioner of KVS, Tinsukia region.

According to an update, all CBSE schools in Dimapur were invited to participate in this competition. The event was judged by a three-person panel.

MH Shimray, principal of PM Shri KV Dimapur, delivered a brief speech on the occasion, emphasising the significance of the competition while also highlighting the students’ latent talents.

There were 100 participants in the contest. The top five participants were awarded certificates and copies of “Exam Warriors,” while the remaining participants received soft copies of certificates.

PVHSS: Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS), Dimapur, also observed the 127th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose in its auditorium on Tuesday, in the presence of students, teachers, and parents.

According to an update, the program began with the universal peace prayer sung by the teachers and the students. Following that, there was a garlanding ceremony for the portraits of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose, the founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangha Swami Pranabanandaji Maharaj, the founder president of the institution Swami Vijayanandaji Maharaj and others.

The observation featured speeches highlighting the significance of observing Netaji Jayanti, patriotic songs, and an address by Swami Arindamanandaji Maharaj. The programme ended with the INA National Anthem.
