To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact both their minds and consciences are corrupted. Titus 1:15
Every new school and institute I visited has touched my heart in ways I had never expected. It feels so good to see new people and it feels even better when transformation takes place in the lives of these new people. The God of holiness desires to see holiness in the lives of every living human whom He considers as His own sons and daughters. And that is what we are by faith but if the nature of our faith are in league with satan, the powers of darkness will not only destroy us physically but it will also push us further to the edge of destruction. If we aren’t pure, we are unholy and if we aren’t holy, our acts of sins will produce more sins, more deaths and more wickedness. The nature of our being will always be in conformity with evil because of what it is but the nature of the new life will seek to destroy the evil in us and create a new heart in us.
In regard to holiness, the Word of God states “ As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But as he who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do: for it is written: “ Be holy because I am Holy” ( 1st Peter 1:14-16 )( Leviticus 11:44,45 19:2, 20:7 ). These spiritual truths are a spiritual decree of a covenant of a spiritual God with a race of unholy people living in the midst of an evil generation. The words evil generation is generalized to depict the sins of the sinners and to warn sinners about the consequences of sin. The only baby in the world who was born holy was Jesus and He was also the only person who had lived a spotless and blameless life. This is what our heavenly Father desires and it is what we can be when His desires becomes our desires.
The Book of Holiness will radically transform our lives when the dictates of it are followed and obeyed. We live in a generation where the flesh of every living sinner are defiled by the ways of sin. The way we think, talk and dress depicts the nature of our being and if our ways depicts us as leaders of sin, our hairs, clothes and flesh will be burned when ( Sinners ) are ultimately cast into the lake of fire which us the second death. It will be a tragedy to wake up and die again (Daniel 12:2). The ultimate truth of this statement is that “A simple word can spark an atmosphere of temptation and a simple touch can spark an atmosphere of lust, unrigtheousness and unholiness. Every wayward men and women will live unholy lives and their covered and uncovered bodies will also be as dirty as their insides are. Every unconvicted sinner will either scoff at this or be offended by it but the lives of every repentant sinner will be radically changed by the power which is at work.
God died for us that we may be made holy through His blood and the degree of His holiness is so high and He expects us to be slaves to it that we may ultimately be perfected by His righteousness in the next life. The acts of our acts will either lead to death or to life and the acts of our sins will either push us to hell or work against us. The ultimatum given to us is either we kill the sin in us or die with the sin in us. God’s warning is evidenced in the given scripture which states “ Put to death, therefore whatever belongs to your earthly nature:sexual immorality, impurity, lust, evil desires and greed, which is idolatry. Because of this the wrath of God is coming (Colossians 3:5-6). God’s judgments always comes with a warning, followed by the fulfillment of the warning. Every uttered word will either increase the good in us or strengthen the evil in us. It takes just a click to go to hell. It takes just a glance to go to hell. And it takes just a thought to go to hell. Do not what sinners do and go not where sinners go. God desires holiness and the answers to all of its questions will be found in the Word.
In the Bible the scriptures states “ For the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared to all men. It teaches us to say “ No “ to ungodliness and worldly passions and to live self controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope-the glorious appearing of our great God and Saviour,Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good ( Titus 2:11-14 ). These written words will lift you to greater heights when you accept and follow the truths of it. This is our Holiness Movement which will spread to the four corners of the world till the end of the world. Desire holiness. Seek it and ask for it. Every lover of holiness will be saved when the giver of it appears. God is the giver and He is what holiness is. We are the Church of Holiness.
