School in Kohima undertakes ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ rally

Kohima, Aug. 11 (EMN): As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, St. Mary's Cathedral Higher Secondary School in Kohima celebrated 'Har Ghar Tiranga' rally on Thursday.

The students began the rally from the school to CRPF Camp at Lerie with 2000 national flags of India.

During a formal gathering, the national flag was hoisted followed by the singing of the national anthem from the brass band of St. Mary's Cathedral Higher Secondary School along with the children.

"Worthy of its effort, a systematic march past was done by our students and Nehru Yuva Kendra, Kohima, which signified methodology and perseverance," said Rev. Fr. Jaison CJ, principal of St. Mary's Cathedral Higher Secondary, Kohima.

'Every heart was moved with the delivery of speeches from students and CRPF jawans alike deeply enriching our patriotism,' he added.
