School conducts workshop for teachers

Dimapur, March 15 (EMN): With the purpose to update teachers on change of education system, managing board of Shalom Mission School, Doyapur, organised a workshop for teachers at the school auditorium on March 14.

Addressing the teachers, the board chairman Thejao Vihienuo encouraged the teachers to equipped and refresh themselves to make teaching-learning more effective, an update from the school stated.

In the first session, Sibuile, faculty of teacher education department from Nagaland University, spoke on "Techniques for effective teaching in school," while in the second session Dr. Khotole Khieya, faculty of education department from Nagaland University, spoke on "Behaviourists and constructionist approach to classroom management," and in the third session professor Buno Liegise, faculty of education department from Nagaland University, spoke on "Developing professionalism of teachers in schools: Ethics, accountability and attitude."

The vote of thanks was pronounced by Sito Meru, officer on special duty (OSD), Shalom Mission School, Doyapur.
