Scholarship 2023-24: Directorate of Higher Education announces dates and details
Deadline for online scholarship verification at the institution level is November 30
DIMAPUR — The Directorate of Higher Education has informed all students and educational institutions regarding the online scholarship application process for the academic year 2023-24.
A DIPR report stated that the online scholarship application for post-matric scholarship for ST students as well as the state merit and research scholarship for the academic session 2023-24 would be active on the state common scholarship portal accessible at https://scholarship.nagaland.gov.in.
It informed that the application portal would be operational from August 28 to October 31 and added that comprehensive guidelines and instructions for each scholarship scheme would be available on the portal.
It stated that only eligible students from empanelled educational institutions are allowed to apply. Institutions could download the empanelment form from the official website: https://highereducation.nagaland.gov.in.
It stated that the department of Higher Education has introduced revised guidelines for the state merit and research scholarship. The revised guidelines are outlined in the notification order dated July 17, 2023. According to the updated guidelines, students can enter the scholarship scheme only in the first year of their course.
It informed that the deadline for online verification at the institution level is November 30.
For students studying outside Nagaland and applying for the post-matric ST, state merit and research scholarship, the last date for submitting hard copies of applications and relevant documents has been set on November 30.
