Dimapur, October 29 : The establishment of the electoral registration of the Kohima Municipal Council has issued released the schedule for the Special Summary Revision of Electoral Roll for municipal / town councils.
The council’s electoral registration officer, Kethosituo Sekhose, on Saturday informed the public of f the municipal wards in Kohima town that the election commissioner of Nagaland had released the schedule of said exercise,
The Special Summary Revision of electoral roll for the municipal / town councils will be undertaken on these dates: Draft publication of the electoral roll on October 31; the period to lodge claims and objections have been set for November 1-10, 2016; the period for disposal of claims and objections has been set for November 11–17, 2016; the period to fill in appeals to respective appellate authority has been set for November 18– 22, 2016; disposal of claims and objection by the appellate authority will be during November 23– 25, 2016; the period for preparation of list of amendment after decision of appellate authorities has been scheduled for November 26–28; the final publication of the electoral roll will be on the 29th of November, 2016.
In this connection all individuals in concern have been informed to take note of the schedule and lodge claims and objections, if any, on the dates as specified.
