Sao Chang College organises professional development programme

DIMAPUR — The Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Sao Chang College (SCC) in Tuensang town organised a one-day professional development programme on ‘CBCS & NEP 2020 curriculum (Nagaland University)’ on February 14.

An update from the college stated that Tekameren Walling, assistant professor of Botany of the college, was the resource person. It stated that he explained in detail the course structure for BA (Honours) and B.Sc (General) under CBCS course.

Besides, he highlighted the question setting, marks allocation, syllabus, examination guidelines under NEP 2020 (FYUGP) during the session. He also briefed the participants on how certificates could be awarded after completion of course year-wise.

It mentioned that the professional development programme was conducted at the college conference hall and was attended by the ministerial staff of the college.

Alitoli V Sumi, assistant professor of History, chaired the programme proceedings and the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr. Santosh Kumar Singh, associate professor of English and IQAC coordinator of the college.

Altogether, 17 ministerial staff and 7 teaching faculty participated in the programme.
