[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Sishunu Baptist Church (SBC) has conducted a three-day long Father’s Camp at GCYM Centre, Sovima, 6th Mile Dimapur from February 20 under the theme “Introspection.”
The speakers of the camp included Dr. Phanenmo Kath, lecturer, ETC Jorhat, Assam, Rev. Kilang Jamir, director Youth Harvest Ministry, Dimapur, Wachu Kath, pastor Sishunu Baptist Church and Thomas Wanth, joint director (Rtd) as workshop resource person.Around 80 fathers turned up at the camp. Fore-runners led praise and worship.
Among the many topics covered during the camp included; Introspection of spouse and family relationship, Introspection of financial obligation towards family and church, Introspection of media impact on family; father’ response, Father’s role in leading the family in the challenging world, Duties and responsibilities of a father’s and Introspection of family worship and devotion to God.
The camp was marked by workshop, sightseeing, recreation & games, devotion and prayer, exercise etc.
