The Satakha Town Youth Organisation unveils the 'I Love Satakha' landmark to promote community beautification and unity.

DIMAPUR — The Satakha Town Youth Organisation officially unveiled the 'I Love Satakha' landmark along National Highway 702A on the Satakha Road on Tuesday.
The landmark, installed on land donated by the children and family of late Hoshivi Tuccu Yepthomi of Satakha village, is part of the youth organisation's town beautification initiative, stated a press release.
The dedication ceremony drew local leaders, gaon buras, Satakha Town Council councillors, community members, and guests.
Aronto Y Jimo, Personal Secretary to the Minister for Roads and Bridges, officially inaugurated the installation. Pastor Vitoka Zhimo of Satakha Town Baptist Church, Aizuto, offered a special prayer to dedicate the landmark.

Speaking during the formal inaugural programme held at General K Zuheto Swu Memorial Hall, Aronto Y Jimo conveyed greetings from the office of the Minister for Roads and Bridges and praised the youth organisation for their role in marking a historic milestone for the community.
Addressing the gathering, he described the occasion as a source of deep pride for Satakha and commended the organisation for translating that pride into tangible action. He urged the organisation and the wider Satakha community to continue building unity and advancement through concrete efforts rather than words alone.
Jimo also called on Satakha residents to serve as ambassadors of peace, unity, and reconciliation across society. Highlighting recent improvements in local infrastructure, he urged the community to take ownership of government-initiated development works, protect public assets, and ensure those facilities are fully utilised for the benefit of all residents.
Ikupu Tuccu, President of the Satakha Town Youth Organisation, recalled that the organisation was formed in 2017 and identified the landmark installation as one of its major projects.
Chumlamo Humtose, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Satakha, praised the organisation for mobilising voluntary funding and community participation for the project. He highlighted the strength of Naga society’s community-based approach and requested the community to adopt a plastics-free zone in Satakha.
