SAPO urges government to monitor lockdown

Dimapur, March 25 (EMN): The Southern Angami Public Organisation (SAPO) on Wednesday urged the state government and village authority to strictly monitor the inter-state lockdown to protect its citizens from Covid-19.

SAPO has also urged the citizens to abide with the law and adhere to the directives of the government, a press update informed. It also stated that citizens must immediately report to the concerned authority in case of any eventuality or a person suspected of suffering from coronavirus.

SAPO has also appealed to the state government to "immediately send experts, technical and medical team, to Khuzama check gate , Kidima prayer park for assisting and checking the entry of  VIPs  and ambulance service movement whether they are  having proper medical certificate or permission to travel en-route," read the statement.
